DIVISION UPDATES

The theme for this year: Buckle up and hold on, because it’s going to be a wild ride. PNE continues to grow with our two main customer bases—Costco and Tribal clients.

Our portfolio with Costco continues to diversify, focusing not only on fuel projects such as expansions and on-site relocates, but also with car wash remodels and a new program for fleet restrooms. Construction will kick off in early Q2 with the addition of restrooms for fleet drivers, located near the warehouse receiving areas. PNE has been awarded 30 sites across 5 states. While last year was a down year due to numerous permitting delays—resulting in a total of 45 awarded projects—by the end of March this year, PNE Construction has received 43 awarded projects, thanks in part to the new fleet restroom program.

TOUTLE, WA DREW’S GROCERY

Not only does our work continue to grow with Costco, but the same can be said for our Tribal projects. PNE Construction is nearing completion of a C-store project, teaming up with AET in Heart Butte, Montana, for the Blackfeet Tribe. The site is scheduled to open in May. We also have several other projects either preparing to kick off construction or currently in the design phase—stay tuned for more updates. Lastly, PNE, along with AET, recently completed construction at Drews Grocery in Toutle. The store, operated by Greg Drew and his daughter Julie, tragically lost their building to a devastating fire over two years ago. After operating out of a temporary store since then, Drews Grocery officially reopened to the public on April 14th with a brand-new, 10,000-square-foot store. If you’re ever in the area, be sure to stop by—this is a great accomplishment for an amazing family.
