ELECTRICAL UPDATE

AET Installation of New Lights at Wheeler Field

AET extends its gratitude to all team members for their hard work each day, making the company a place of enjoyment. Continue to work safely, and let's finish the second half strong.

The first half of 2024 is off to a solid start. We are seeing new and exciting opportunities come to fruition with the opening of our Vancouver office. Tom Johnson and the crew are working hard to duplicate the success that our other AET branches have achieved. Recently, our team of 20 electricians completed a hazardous weeklong shutdown, lifting heavy cables safely under Dave Mortensen and Randy Bardal's leadership. Thanks to the focus on safety, the job was finished on time and under budget. Safety always comes first! Thank you to the PNE safety team and everyone at PNE for ensuring we all go home safely each day. Our Caldwell, Idaho location continues to grow. With the hard work of Tyler Brown and the electrical team, they will be super busy in the second half of 2024. The Aberdeen Department continues to increase its customer base by expanding its geographical reach to add new opportunities. We are very fortunate to have strong and talented crews that can get the most from these locations. At AET, safety is paramount, especially for electricians working with hidden energy sources. One mistake can cause severe injury or even death. With the PNE safety team's help, we eliminate hazards before work begins using checklists and lockouts.

The Longview team has been busy this year and will continue to do so with projects in Eugene, West Virginia and throughout the Northwest. We are seeing an abundance of work outside of our normal area; however, with our dedicated and committed teams, we are achieving great success!

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE La Jolla Remodeled Fuel Station in Pauma Valley, CA

Although we have experienced a slower than normal first half of the year with customers like Costco, 2024 has still been a busy year, nonetheless. In February, PNEC teamed up with AET and commenced construction for a new project in North Bend, Oregon, which includes a 3,400 square foot convenience store, tunnel car wash, and five-dispenser gas station on a very small site.

Since 2000, PNE Construction has built a lengthy resume of Native American Tribal projects, and this year is no different. We constructed two fuel stations for neighboring Tribes in Southern California. After breaking ground in October of 2023, PNEC opened the Santa Ysabel Roadside 79 in May, which was constructed in the middle of a hillside. The four-dispenser site exceeded the Tribe’s fueling expectations in the first two months of business. In addition to working with the Santa Ysabel Tribe, PNEC rebuilt the gas station for the La Jolla Tribe 15 miles up the road. PNEC teamed up with AET and CCS to completely rebuild the site by replacing the fuel tanks, lines, and dispensers, in addition to rebuilding the canopy. Safety is our top priority in every aspect of our construction work while ensuring the health and well-being of our employees, customers, and the sites that we’re developing. Our approach to working safely speaks to PNEC’s excellent safety results year in and year out while demonstrating our dedication to maintaining a safe work environment even under the tightest construction schedules.

INDUSTRIAL CLEANING UPDATE

At CCS, safety is always the highest priority. This requires dedication and discipline from all members of our team. Whether it is a task that has been done a hundred times or a brand-new situation, the approach and solutions our teams establish, along with our Safety Department, are impressive. It is exciting to see the ingenuity of our employees when they devise ways to safely perform work that requires unique approaches. Everyone at CCS should take great pride in the amount of work we accomplish in some of the most safety-challenging environments. Some recent jobs that have exemplified "Safety in the Workplace" and deserve recognition are Dean Gunder and the Pasco crew's successful completion of a pond cleaning and disposal project. Also, everyone involved in the salt ship offloading jobs in Longview, and the ongoing confined space rescue work by our outstanding teams throughout our CCS locations. Thank you to everyone for working safely on these projects and many others in the first half of 2024.
