AET has started the year in unfamiliar waters as the economy works to determine its direction. Despite the uncertainty, our team pushed through and came out of the first quarter in great shape. The Longview team kicked off a couple of notable projects at WestRock in Longview and completed a full sawmill rewire in Kalispell, Montana. Other team members have been busy with Drew’s Grocery, the Bud Clary Corporate Office, and multiple Costco jobs down in California. Most exciting is the substantial backlog of work lined up for the second half of the year.
The Idaho group focused on strengthening relationships with key food and manufacturing companies in the area. Through their hard work and quality installations, they’ve positioned the team for a busy year, with larger projects starting at Ash Grove Cement, Simplot, and Amalgamated Sugar Company. The Aberdeen team has been hard at work with Washington Crab, a project that involves rewiring several production lines to improve safety and efficiency. They’ve also contributed to ongoing work at Sierra Pacific and Port Townsend Paper. Over the years, we’ve learned that the Peninsula market can be challenging, but thanks to this team’s professionalism and dedication, we continue to succeed. Our newest department in Vancouver is exceeds expectations. The team just wrapped up a major power distribution upgrade at Firestone Fruit, and with the addition of Taurus Power & Controls, new opportunities continue to come through the door. Thanks to the hard work and commitment of the entire AET team. Let’s continue to stay safe and keep up the great work.
